VelmaDobson Velma Dobson, PhD was a prolific research and champion of children's vision. While in Seattle, she helped develop and implement preferential looking cards for infant vision assessment and then applied them to premature infants with ROP. In Arizona, she studied photoscreening in high-risk children demonstrating that early detection and treatment leads to better acuity. Dr. Dobson died of ALS in April 2010. | Velma Dobson CV Laurels
