Low Vision Codes

Low vision codes icd10 Modern medicine utilizes different alpha-numeric codes to identify different diseases and conditions- this is partly to assist billing, but has the potential to aid epidemiologic study to improve medicine. In the transition from icd-9 to icd-10, useful power was initially stripped - but in fall 2017, more specificity added. Unfortunately, the modifications made coding MUCH more complex, and of limited utility. Long term understanding of amblyopia screening, treatment and cure-rates would be enhanced with better coding- so ABCD and ACES have suggested the following simplification.
