Cerebral Vision Impairment (CVI)

Home
Proper vision requires the eyes gathering and processing light, sending signals via the optic nerves and then active processing of the information by the brain. When the brain doesn't process the information some or all of the time, that is called "cerebral vision impairment" or CVI. This can be due to white matter in the brain, or gray matter (cortical vision impairment).
