Difficult situation: Family follow-up inconsistent. Any reason NOT to proceed with enucleation left eye?

10-month-old Asian Pacific girl with blind, esotropic left eye with whitish retinal detachment, no vitreous seeding but may have nasal subretinal mass. No calcium on CT. Right eye clear on EUA.
