ABCD History

A portable, infrared photoscreener with onsite, real-time computer interpretation; the screening clinic can input patient information, rapidly do the child-friendly, musical photoscreen, read the onscreen refraction interpretation and then refer those few children who are suspected of having high risk for amblyopia.

ABCD plans to utilize the PlusOptix S4 in pre-K and Kindergarten screening, Lion's Club outreaches and for use by all South Central Families in the Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic at Providence on scheduled days.
