The Alaska Oculocardiac Reflex (OCR) Study started with IRB approval from Providence Hospital in 1992 as a prospective observational study of eye manipulation and routine strabismus surgery with standard anesthesia techniques. The IRB for the study does not require specific consent. The study in compliant with HIPAA and the Declaration of Helsinki. OCR OR
